Presentation Builder
Everything you need to build powerful interactive presentations
Three-panel Layout
Left panel — slide thumbnails and type picker. Centre — big editable slide canvas. Right panel — slide settings (time, points, type).
Inline Editing
Click the question text or any answer choice on the big card to edit it directly. Changes save automatically every few seconds.
Drag & Reorder
Drag slide thumbnails in the left panel to reorder. The order in the panel matches what participants see during the session.
Slide Settings
Use the right panel to set time limit (5s–120s), enable or disable points, choose slide type, and add an explanation shown after answering.
Mobile Builder
A bottom navigation bar appears on mobile. Tap Slides to see the thumbnail list, Add to add slides, Settings for slide options.
Auto-save
The builder auto-saves every 2 seconds. Look for the All saved indicator in the topbar. Manual save is not needed.

AI Toolbar (Per Slide)
When you select any slide in the builder, an AI toolbar appears on the big card. Each button sends a request to our AI and updates the slide instantly.

🔄 Re-run a Quiz
Want to run the same presentation again for a new group? Click 🔄 Re-run Quiz on the host page. A new session is created instantly with a fresh code. The old session's data is preserved in Analytics.
Pacing Controls
Control how and when slides advance automatically
The pacing bar appears at the top of the host control panel. Choose how slides advance during your session.
Manual (Default)
You control when to advance. Click Next Question when ready. Best for discussions or when you want to control the pace precisely.
After Timer
Slides advance automatically when the slide's time limit runs out. A countdown bar shows remaining time. Best for self-paced or exam-style sessions.
80% Responded
Slides advance when 80% of participants have submitted an answer. Great for keeping energy high without waiting for stragglers.

Reaction Buttons
Five emoji reaction buttons appear below the question on the audience page. Tapping one sends a floating animation and adds to the live count visible to other participants.
Streak Rewards
Getting multiple correct answers in a row triggers animated celebrations: 3 in a row 🔥, 5 in a row ⚡, 7 in a row 🌟, 10 in a row 🏆. A toast pops up centre-screen.
Anonymous Mode
Toggle Play Anonymously on the join screen to get a random name like "SilentFox42". You still appear on the leaderboard but your real identity is hidden.
Live Heatmap (Host)
On the host screen, a real-time bar chart shows how many participants chose each option, coloured green (correct) or red (incorrect) for MCQ slides.

Access analytics at /quiz/<id>/analytics/ or by clicking the Analytics button on My Presentations page.

🤖 AI Expert Insight
On the Questions tab, each question has an 🤖 AI Expert Insight button. Click it to get a plain-English analysis of why participants struggled, what the data suggests about knowledge gaps, and specific recommendations for follow-up.

Download and share your session results
CSV Export
Download all raw response data as a CSV file. Includes participant names, question text, chosen answer, correct answer, points, and response time. Compatible with Excel and Google Sheets.

PDF Report
Generate a print-friendly HTML report at /quiz/<id>/analytics/pdf/. Use your browser's Ctrl+P → Save as PDF to download. Includes all KPIs, charts, and question breakdowns.

Email Report
Automatically sent to the host when a session ends. Contains participant count, accuracy, top scorer, per-question breakdown, and links to full analytics.

When you end a session, btsfn automatically sends a summary email to the host. No setup required — emails go to your registered account email.

Accessibility Features
Built-in tools to make btsfn usable by everyone
Font Size Control
On the audience page, a floating toolbar (top-right) shows four A buttons. Click to cycle through small, normal, large, and extra-large text sizes. Preference is saved.
High Contrast Mode
Click the ◑ button in the accessibility toolbar to toggle high contrast mode. Black background, white text, yellow focus rings — optimised for low vision users.
Keyboard Navigation
Use ↑ ↓ arrow keys to move between answer choices on the audience page. Press Enter or Space to select.
Screen Reader Support
All answer choices include ARIA labels (e.g. "Option A: Paris"). The question area has aria-live="polite" so screen readers announce new questions automatically.

| How many participants can join? | No limit. btsfn handles hundreds of simultaneous participants per session. |
| Do participants need an account? | No. Participants only need the session code. No registration or login required. |
| Can I edit a presentation during a live session? | No. Changes to the builder do not affect a running session. End and restart to apply changes. |
| How long is a session code valid? | Until the session is ended by the host. Ended sessions' codes can no longer be joined. |
| Can I show the correct answer before moving on? | Yes — the host screen shows correct answers highlighted after each slide. Advance at your pace. |
| Can I download individual participant results? | Yes — use CSV Export on the Analytics page to download all responses per participant. |
| What happens if a participant loses connection? | They can rejoin with the same name and code. Previous answers are retained. |
| Can I run a session without internet for participants? | No. Participants need internet to join. The host also needs internet to run the session. |
| How do I delete a presentation? | From My Presentations, click the three-dot menu on any card and select Delete. |
| Can I duplicate a presentation? | Yes — use the Duplicate button on the My Presentations page to create a copy with all slides. |
